I love food!

The Oxford English Dictionary defines Food as; any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink, or that plants absorb, in order to maintain life and growth. Oh Em Gee!! I don’t think I could currently love food any more! I’m sorry I have been AWOL over the past month or more. I’ve had a lot of changes see So I quit Roller Derby this week…, I also made a short trip to Cairns and I’ve just returned (Tuesday night) from a blissful four days eating and shopping my way around Melbourne. FOOD! How good is it!? I know that this is something we all need to survive (duh!) but good food is AMAZING! I love how it can complete me, this might sound like an unhealthy relationship with food, but I feel so happy/blissful and content after a great meal. I had moments in Melbourne when I reflected on life and how lucky I am to have the means and access to such plentitude. I truly felt so happy that I could die in that moment and I wouldn’t regret a thing… to feel that way about anything in life is pretty special.

I am a fat women trapped in a thin woman’s body!! Thank you Dad for my appetite and metabolism!

I used to be an incredibly fussy child, but now I’m older my tastes have developed, due in part to my parents perseverance. They probably regret it now, because I’ve developed a taste for the finer things in life and I’m not normally satisfied with the local pub grub. My poor boyfriend (Mr Awesome) has plain tastes and is happy to eat pretty much anything (except sea urchin), but is getting used to my food “snobbery”. Anyway… enough blah blah blah! Let’s see some food eh? I have a range of food porn to satisfy most. I took these pictures during my adventures in  Melbourne and all of the restaurants were discovered thanks to UrbanSpoon…  It is the all knowing, all seeing oracle of food and is so accurate I would trust it with my life! (In Melbourne anyway).
